The Wanderer - Character Sculpt

This project, which I've dubbed "The Wanderer," is a character I have played around with a lot in the past year. It combines two of my current interests: the early medieval period (outside of Britain) and protective symbols and motifs throughout various cultures. In the making of this project, a mystery emerged: with all of these protective symbols she wears, what exactly is she protecting herself from? What lurks in the dark forest, shying away from the flickering lantern light, footsteps muffled by the snow?
